A bustling seaport and a ravenous battle zone, the Fight area is loaded with tents and buildings that host everything from stamina battles, Pokemon contests, and all things in between. Those with an invitation to the tournament often train and meet other contestants here.

Not everything is fighting and winning! This deluxe, five-star hotel is open for free to all those whom have an invitation to the tournament. You and your pokemon may come and stay as soon as you have your invite, and relish in the delectable comforts.

Jagged rocks, scratchy grass, deep rivers and steep plateaus are scattered all around the island. Tread lightly, and pack heavily. Before you know it, you just might be stuck out here for a night or two.

Or worse.

Better hope that your survival kit includes some goggles. This harsh desert is kept quarantined and brutal by the mass amounts of VERY territorial Tyranitar that reside here. Watch your step and travel quickly, and you may not get burnt before the competition really begins.

For a mile in every direction from the safe zone is a stretch of flat, hard earth covered in knee-high wild grass. The area is named for its position, and that contestants are usually fleeing for their lives coming to or fro in this stretch of open battleground.

If you head north from the fields, you will begin to ascend a tall and dangerous mountain range. The mist is thick and the higher you go, the more vicious the cold gets. That is, of course, you can avoid the lava pits and flames of the dangerous Dragon types who reside here.

Sub-board: Heatrans Eye

If you head west around the foreboding mountains, you'll find your footing...a little extra mucky. Splattered with random willows and rocks, the swampy and eerily silent marsh will extend for a couple miles in either direction until you hit the forest or the cove.

Tall, solid concrete walls will meet any trainers eyes who prematurely stumble onto the grounds of this formidable abode. Razor wire skims the tops of these walls that are geometrically capped with armed guard towers. Through the enormous gate awaits a sturdy, yet engorging in lavish detail, a black mansion, the walls carved from granite. The hundreds of staff keep out a keen eye, and you will not be welcome here without proper identification.

Covering the entire area of the island northeast of the mountains and marshes until it reaches a sudden and very, very tall drop-off into the ocean. All of the trees bark is an ashy grey with dark, black leaves. Light has trouble coming through, and eerie screams and crying can be heard at night.

If you head west from the fields, you'll quickly find yourself in the skeleton of what was once a bustling town. The buildings and alleyways lay covered in ruin and soot after the dragons came off the mountains, laying waste to the people. Try not to stare at the skeletons laying around...they don't like it.

Yeah, Unova. Because four generations apparently wasn't enough.
